We have special legal expertise in the field of bankruptcy and liquidation procedures, together with reorganisation procedures by assisting liquidators as legal advisors. In several cases our Law Firm provided legal advice and legal representation in litigations and out-of-court cases by preparing the full-scale legal documentation required for such procedures.
The Law Firm was also appointed as legal counsel in several liquidation procedures of significant state-owned companies. The services provided during the liquidation procedures include the legal representation of the liquidator, the legal supervision of the creditors’ claims, enforcement and sale of buyers’ claims as well as the announcement and completion of tenders for the acquisition of company assets.
In our view, the reorganisation procedure of different major Hungarian companies may be considered a significant success. The companies affected by such procedures were, near to insolvency, reorganised with STL Law Firm’s diligent legal assistance and became profitable enterprises again.
