STL Law Firm has been engaged in various M&A transactions from small scale mergers of domestic entities to international acquisitions and mergers. Our Law Firm provides legal assistance at all stages of M&As, from the pre-negotiation phase in preparation of non-disclosure agreements and other various preparatory documentation as well as in the operative part of due diligence procedures and the assessment of due diligence investigations. Depending on the type of the transaction, STL Law Firm provides legal support not only in the drafting of sale and purchase agreements and all annexure thereof, but also in the negotiation procedures between the parties, cooperation throughout the whole procedure with in-house counsels of the clients and/or external legal, tax, financial advisors of both the clients and the other party. STL Law Firm has the opportunity to cooperate on a long-term basis with its own, highly ranked tax advisors and specialised experts, but in the majority of the cases tax advisors of clients are also involved in the processes.
Along the M&A process, STL Law Firm prepares all submissions for regulatory and licensing authorities such as the Competition Authority, the Supervisory Office of Financial Institutions and any other relevant authorities in connection with the business line the acquired entities are pursuing.
